Undo an undo
Every rollback saves a restore point first. If the result is not what you wanted, you can undo that rollback while it remains in the history, with the same three-way rules and the same limits.
When it makes sense
For example, if you undid an import that was actually correct, or if after undoing you realize some of the changes should have stayed.
Step by step
- Open the rollback. From the event, press "See the rollback", or open it from Home.
- Press "Undo this rollback". You will see how many fields will go back to the value they had after the event.
- Confirm. Before writing, Reversa saves another restore point.
- Review the check. Reversa reads the store again and compares every field, as with any rollback.
Which rules apply
- Three-way rules: if someone changed a field after the rollback, it is kept and not overwritten unless you choose to.
- Inventory is not touched, as in any rollback.
- Only while the rollback remains in your plan’s history (90, 180 or 365 days).
- Images come back only if the original image or Reversa’s copy is still available, and they get a new URL.
- The operation itself is recorded: the rollback will show "This rollback was itself undone".
